DNA and the Book of Mormon

Deception 5

In Joel Kramer’s one-sided DNA study he does not identify, assume, test, or confirm any details on what the DNA fingerprint is of a Middle Eastern Israelite. Are the scientists doing these DNA studies using the DNA from the current Israelites living in Israel? Joel Kramer does not give any information on what they are comparing the DNA to in the Middle East. If Joel were using current Middle Eastern DNA fingerprint data, then the study is basically wrong. One must remember that the ancient Israelites were scattered in approximately 70 AD. It was not until the end of the 1940’s that the Jews started to gather back to Israel.

Are the scientists using DNA from the current Muslim population in Israel, Egypt, Syria, Lebanon and etc? Are the scientists using the ancient Israelite DNA found in skeletons buried in Israel? If so, are they sure the skeletons are of Hebrew origin?

Why does not Joel Kramer or any of the scientists used in this documentary use proper scientific processes to explain the DNA of the Middle East? The answer to this question is because this type of study on the Middle East DNA has not been properly conducted. In none of the scientist’s studies, used in this documentary, has there listed a study on the DNA in the Middle East. Again, this lack of evidence is convenient for Joel Kramer’s predetermined conclusion that Joseph Smith was a liar and The Book of Mormon is false.
