The Evolution of Anti-Mormonism
Two Races in the Americas
Accusation #4: Another of the anti-Mormon favorite accusation the only people in the Americas were Indians—there was never a white race! Again, with the current archeological evidence at the time, the anti-Mormons were telling the truth. At that time in history there was never any knowledge of two different races (Indians and whites) in the Americas.
Response #4: I have evidence (pictures) that I took myself on the Mayan peninsula of some ancient Mayan murals. These murals were in color. They contained a dark Indian tribe and a white people too! It is a little weird that in one Mayan painting the whites and Indians are living in what seemed like peace. The other Mayan painting has the whites being prisoners of the Indians! If you were to read the Book of Mormon you would find that both murals depict different times in the history of the Book of Mormon. There are more murals to support the dualism of the tribes as taught in the Book of Mormon.

The above mural was found on the wall of a temple in Chitzén Itzá, Mexico. Note how the darker skin Indians are enslaving the white skin race. The Book of Mormon tells of how the Lamanites hunted down all the remaining Nephites that fled the battle field and killed as many as was found.

This mural was found in the same temple on the Mayan peninsula. It appears that the two different races were living in relative peace between them.
Please remember that Joseph Smith was only 20 to 21 years of age when he committed to the dual races being in the Americas! There was no evidence to support such a claim at that time.
What have the anti-Mormons done about this evidence?
- They ignore it and move to the next accusation.
Are you seeing an obvious pattern here? Out of four major accusations that were once truth—all have been proven wrong. Joseph Smith currently is correct four out of four times.
