Beware the Serpent by Kendall L. Mann
In Beware the Serpent Kendall Mann uses only the Bible to directly confront the controversy about Joseph Smith's claim that he was a prophet of God. Some Christians counter that Joseph Smith was a false prophet, that the Mormons do not believe in the Bible or the God of the Bible - that Joseph Smith was a deceiver. To help find out who the real deceiver may be, Kendall does an in depth biblical study to see what exactly the Bible does say on over 90 of Joseph Smith's teachings. Among these teachings are the most controversial topics:

Kendall takes a common sense approach to this controversy. In this study Kendall has included a Biblical Support Chart that tracts the 90 teachings. He challenges both sides of the debate (the Mormons and the other Christians) to compare their particular religion and beliefs with what is stated in the Bible. After completing this challenge each Christian may be better educated to recognize who the true deceiver really is. In an interesting twist he shows where each side of this religious argument may achieve their own version of eternal rewards.
